Dr. Jane Gehr

Dr. Jane Gehr

Owner and Veterinarian

Dr. Jane Gehr is the owner and Practice Manager of Arcade Animal Hospital. She has been with the practice since 2006, first as a veterinary technician while in veterinary school, then as a relief veterinarian until buying the practice in July 2015.

Dr. Jane received two Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Wisconsin and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. Her special veterinary interests are behavior, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Jane is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association, and is working towards Certification as a Fear Free Veterinary Professional.

In her free time, Dr. Jane enjoys reading, painting, spending time with her English mastiff, Dakota, and her cats, Nemo, Puddy, Bats, and Cassie, and, much to the consternation of her fiancé, rooting for the Green Bay Packers. Every day, she’s grateful she has the best job in the world.

Certified Veterinary Technician/Office Manager


Michelle joined Arcade Animal Hospital in 2002. What she enjoys most about her job is getting to work with animals all day. She also appreciates the fact that they’re a small practice.

Away from work, she enjoys binge watching movies, working out and spending quality time with family and friends. Michelle shares her home with a 13-year-old pitbull named Gangus.
